Milan is one of my all time favorite kids to photograph - she is a natural in front of the camera, LOVES to be photographed, has a great personality and is always very gracious. She just turned 13 and wanted to have her birthday party at my studio… I was so flattered! Thank you, Milan, for wanting to share your special day with me! Milan, her sister Sophia, and 13 friends came over all decked out and dolled up ready for action. We had a blast - I absolutely loved working with this age group - the energy was great and reminded me what it was like to be 13 again - soooo much fun! Here’s the birthday girl herself, followed by a group image and finally, a little video I put together…

I had a blast during this session - it just had so much going for it - a natural setting, a beautiful sky, excellent clothing choices, and a family that is so cute and gorgeous that I can’t even begin to describe… Oh! And we even had a few horses wander our way! A perfect example of how family photo sessions don’t have to be stiff and boring!! You might recognize a couple of these girls as they have *starred* on my blog before - for their senior portrait sessions!

I frequently receive calls from people who are inquiring whether or not we shoot all ages or just high school seniors. Age doesn’t matter - we work with kids, teens, and adults of all ages (in fact, stay tuned… we’ll be launching a site geared towards adults for contemporary headshots soon!) It just so happens that the bulk of my clients are high school seniors so that’s how I have my website set up. Tiffany, below, just graduated from college! A very sweet girl with beautiful expressions and a great smile!
